National Stone Centre is a 40 acre Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), for its geological formations, offering outdoor and indoor activities for all, including Rock Shop and The Blue Lagoon Café within the Discovery Centre. The Stone Centre, adjacent to the High Peak Trail, is a 1.5 mile steep uphill walk from Cromford or just a short bus ride from Cromford market place on bus 6.1 or 110.
