Mount Cook Activity Centre offers adventurous outdoor activities for all ages

Mount Cook Activity Centre offers adventurous outdoor activities for all ages including engaging learning experiences for schools. The activity centre at Middleton, near Wirksworth is adjacent to the High Peak Trail, a 1.5 mile steep uphill walk from Cromford, or catch the bus.

Visiting Mount Cook Activity Centre by bus: Catch bus 6.1, X17 or 110/111 from Matlock Bath (outside the train station) or Cromford market place (15 minute walk from train station). You can also catch the X17 from Sheffield, Chesterfield and Matlock to Wirksworth. View the bus timetables here, and please check with the travel operator before you travel.
