Wild Geese Theatre Company presents…The Green Knight – a brand new show for children aged 7+ and their families. The Green Knight is a fun, imaginative take on the Arthurian poem written around 1400AD. The Green Knight is a fun, imaginative take on the Arthurian poem written around 1400AD. The play follows the young Gawain as she journeys across Ancient Britain to prove herself worthy of becoming one of the Knights of the Round Table.

This story is about how we learn from one another and the bonds we forge when we work together and never give up. This story is about how we learn from one another and the bonds we forge when we work together and never give up. The show is set in period, so swords and shields and armour, but there will undoubtedly be moments where we throw historical accuracy to the wind in favour of something more fun.

The work is interactive and immersive, with moments in the show where all the audience can get involved. Wild Geese put young people in the driver’s seat and provide a platform for them to experience theatre whilst engaging creatively with it at the same time. The shows are always raucous, fun, and uniquely personable – striving to ensure each and every audience member is engaged and involved every step of the way. Music is also integral to productions,  often combining modern electronic scores with medieval instrumentals.

The Green Knight has a running time of approximately 1 hour 15 mins without an interval. To book your tickets for The Green Knight For more information, head to www.wildgeesetc.co.uk. You can also find Wild Geese Theatre Company on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram by searching @wildgeesetc.’
