Belper Christmas Lights Switch On

Celebrate the Switch On of the Belper Christmas Lights

The lights will be switched on at 5.45pm in the Memorial Gardens, by actor, acclaimed folk singer, songwriter, composer and musician John Tams.

He will be joined by Belper Town Mayor Jamie Walls, Santa Claus and his elves!

Following the lights switch on, tribute band Slade UK will perform in the Memorial Gardens.

There will be local charity stalls and further entertainment along King Street.

All shops and business premises are invited to stay open for late night Christmas shopping.
