Peak Sightseer

From Saturday 11 May the Stagecoach Peak Sightseer will run daily along two scenic routes until 6 October and then at weekends until Saturday 26 October.

The Red Route operates every 30 minutes between Chatsworth and Bakewell and the Blue Route hourly between Chatsworth, Hope Valley and Castleton.

From Matlock both Blue and Red Routes can be accessed at Chatsworth using Stagecoach’s 160 bus which is included in the Stagecoach Gold ticket priced £9.50 adult and £5.50 child or catch the 6.1 or Transpeak to Bakewell to access the Red Route. The £2 single fare is not valid on this service.

Getting to the Peak Sightseer from Matlock
Transpeak runs hourly from Matlock, connect to Peak Sightseer Red route in Bakewell.

Sixes 6.1 runs hourly from Matlock, connect to Peak Sightseer Red route in Bakewell.

Stagecoach 160 runs 2 hourly from Matlock, Connect to Peak Sightseer Red or Blue routes at Chatsworth House. Adult and Child Gold DayRider tickets can be used on the 160 and Peak Sightseer, pay once, ride all day.
