Mount Cook Activity Centre offers adventurous outdoor activities for all ages with tailor made residential/day trips enabling children to experience the great outdoors.
Offering tailored residential/day trips throughout the year, to enable children to experience the outdoors, try something new, develop skills and create lasting memories. Adventure activities include low ropes, high ropes and a zip wire from the roof! The educational packages will inspire pupils and teachers alike, providing powerful learning opportunities for children and young people of all ages and abilities.
Additionally an Key Stage 2 History experience is available with an immersive Prehistoric tribesman, enabling children to learn how to make fire using traditional methods, shelter construction, cave painting, archery and bush craft.
The activity centre at Middleton, near Wirksworth is adjacent to the High Peak Trail, a 1.5 mile steep uphill walk from Cromford or just a short bus ride from Cromford market place on bus 6.1 or 110.
