A walk around the waterways of the Belper Mill complex.

Join Belper North Mill for a walk around the waterways of the Belper Mill complex to see how water-power has been harnessed on the site for nearly 250 years.

Discover how the Strutts used 11 waterwheels (including 6 ‘flood wheels’) to power the site and how the English Sewing Cotton Company went on to introduce hydro-electric power to the site.
