Derbyshire Makes Festival at Cromford

12 April 2025 - 13 April 2025

Events inspired by water and local folklore, taking place both days between 10:30 and 4:30.

Cromford was the cradle of the Industrial Revolution. Today, we’re celebrating this history at Cromford Mills with a series of events inspired by water and local folklore, from live performances led by local storytellers, to a range of fun making activities. Listen to fables involving water spirits and mythical creatures, wander the arts and craft stalls, and explore your own creativity – from crafting magical fish to creating musical instruments. In addition to our festival activities, join us every day of the Easter holidays to take part in a variety of making and crafting workshops. This activity is family friendly.
