Christmas Markets and Shopping at Cromford Mills

2 December 2023 - 3 December 2023

Step into a winter wonderland at Cromford Mills and experience the magic of Christmas

Every weekend in December, Cromford Mills’ Christmas Markets will transport you to a festive haven, open from 10 am to 4 pm on the 2-3, 9-10, and 16-17 of December.

Visit Father Christmas or indulge in a special story time breakfast with him at Wheatcroft’s Cafe. As you explore the markets, and Community Christmas Tree Festival, sip on festive drinks and treats at the cozy cafes. The merry atmosphere continues with live music performances throughout December, featuring the talented John Gill entertaining the crowds each weekend. On the 9th, join the Rock Choir from 12 pm, and on the 16th, the Matlock Tuneless Choir will add to the joy.

Cromford Mills has a great range of independent shops, located in the mill yard and open daily throughout the Christmas period.

Dive into the holiday spirit with a unique twist—meet the Grinch himself on the 16th and 17th during the Christmas market! For a heartwarming encounter,
